why do you insist on using “i.e.” when you really mean “e.g.?” huh? why? WHY?

ok, so e.g. may be technically correct for you, but i’ve been saying ‘i.e.’ for years when it comes to the term “for example”, so there. just drop it. my latin teacher said that was the correct way to do it so that’s how i’ve been doing it. no, i won’t change it.

  1. i.e. means “that is.”

    e.g. means “for example.”

so what you’re saying is, i can ask any question in the world aside from the two you just mentioned in your rules.

so ha. insist what you insist.

  2. pa, pa-pa-pa pa, pa-pa-pa pa, pa-pa pa, pa-pa pah!

  3. let’s just agree to disagree.
